This site provides information about the Post-Compulsory Education teacher education programme of the University of Bedfordshire. It is not, however, an official university site; it is provided simply in order to provide easy access to public documentation. It enables prospective students—and anyone else interested—to find out about the programme before signing up.
The programme is a two-year part-time course for people who teach anyone over the age of 16 in;
... and so on. It is endorsed by Lifelong Learning UK as a "Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector", the standard teaching qualification in the sector, and contributes to membership of the Institute for Learning (IfL) and Qualified Teacher (Learning and Skills) status (QTLS).
